HELHEIM: Easter Tour Cancelled
February 13, 2007Norwegian black/viking metallers HELHEIM have cancelled their previously announced Easter tour "due to lots of timing conflicts for some band members." According to a posting on the group's web site, "HELHEIM will be back with a major tour in context of the next album. The successful cooperation with BLACK EARTH will continue and cause havoc in Europe. The planned Ragnarock Festival [appearance on 30-31 in Lichtenfels, Germany] will still go as planned though."
HELHEIM's fifth album, "The Journeys and Experiences of Death", was released last June via Dark Essence Records. The CD features guest appearances by ROOT vocalist Jiri Valter (a.k.a. Big Boss) on two songs and Marius Lynghjem from the Norwegian experimentalists CORVINE.
"The Journeys and Experiences of Death" was released as a double digipack featuring the unreleased "Helsviti" EP from 2001.
